Red Ribbon Clubs have been constituted in schools and colleges to spread the message on AIDS awareness in their immediate environment. Rural areas would get more focus through a view of contact programmes with the aid of students. Awareness on AIDS and safe blood transfusion was being disseminated through red ribbon clubs.
